Army of Women: The Army of Women is a non-profit partnership between the Dr. Susan Love Research Foundation and the Avon Foundation. Our goal is to build a data base of one million women, with and without a history of breast cancer. This data base will be used to help further research with the ultimate goal of actually preventing breast cancer. If you choose to sign up, you will get periodic emails inviting you to participate in a specific research study. You are never obligated to participate in anything and you can drop out at any time. Involvement can range from an email questionnaire or phone call to actual visits to a lab. It is always your choice if you want to participate. If you would like to participate in breast cancer research in this way, log on to www.armyofwomen.org and sign up.
Member Inquirer Classes are offered several times a year for those interested in joining First Presbyterian Church, Warrensburg. The emphasis is on inquiry. Attending the class does not mean you have to join. The class includes information on how one becomes a member, expressing one's faith in service, the history of our congregation, how we do business and mission, and opportunities for service and fellowship.
