Session Duties:

The session is responsible for the mission and government of the particular church. It has the responsibility and power to provide opportunity for evangelism, receive members, provide for the worship of the people of God, develop and supervise the educational programs of the church, to lead the congregation continually to discover what God is doing in the world and much more as defined in the Presbyterian Church (USA) Book of Order.

Board of Deacons’ Duties:
The office of deacon as set forth in scripture is one of sympathy, witness, and service after the example of Jesus Christ. To minister to those who are in need, to the sick, to the friendless, and to any who may be in distress both within and beyond the community of faith. Presbyterian Church (USA) Book of Order.
